Scope: Website Design

Watching Over Women “WOW” Toronto is an empowerment centre for women of diverse races, cultures, ages, socio-economic situations, and sexual orientations who have survived rape, sexual violence, sexual harassment, or any form of gender-based violence. 

After being left in the lurch by their previous web designer, with only half a finished website, WOW was in need of a designer to complete the rest of their site. Fortunately, we connected and I was able to help them finish things up, plus improve other elements of their site that were lacking. On the homepage, I updated the hero banner image by sourcing a higher resolution version of the existing image, added their primary sponsor, and optimized the page for mobile. On the "About" page, I re-organized the layout of the team section and added clickable contact info. I also updated the footer and included links to the company's social media platforms. The pages I designed completely include, the "Blog", "In the News", and "Partners"
